The air data probes on the fin were replaced with music wire. The
canopy fit is not important as it will be posed open. The sealant
decals came out well, I think. The ALPS prints on a continuous film,
so I made cuts
around the outside and inside and removed the clear film when it released
after being wet. I lost the first decal learning how to do it but I
always print extras and the next two attempts went well. Flooding
the
application area with water made the difference. A cotton bud was
carefully used to get rid of the excess water and Micro Sol was then
dropped on. The narrow decal is easy to displace. Once the
Micro Sol had expired I dipped the canopy in Future, which of course was
the second time the canopy had gotten that treatment.
