The tail light is polished clear acrylic, replacing the kit grey plastic. The stabilators were drilled out to accept a brass connecting rod and a bushing was placed in the fin.
The stabilators are moveable. A blanking plate was placed in the fin below the stabilator where there is a cutout to avoid a see through effect. The formation lights are
ALPS decals placed over the kit's molded lights which were sanded down to reduce their prominence.
