UH-19D tip toeing before liftoff at Camp San Luis Obispo.  Later on I got an extended stay at summer camp when this helicopter's
R-1300 broke a cam ring and the pilot auto-rotated safely into the hills.  It was towed back to the parade ground behind a jeep via dirt roads
 Wayne Ferrari and I stayed with it until repairs commenced.  It turned out to be much better duty than we thought, someone left behind a couple of six packs.....
