The Shipping Box

I built this up from 1/8 birch ply I bought at Michaels.  The model is supported by foam glued to the box parts and backed

up by balsa supports.  The aim was to get a sufficiently stiff box while not getting any heavier than the minimum required.
Eight screws, four on top and 4 on the sides were used so the minimum of internal bracing and ply thickness could be used.  Pretty
much a monocoque structure.  Without the screws it has much less rigidity so please put them all in each time the model is shipped.
Won't be proof from Aaron's drive wheels but should handle a lot of shock and fair impacts.
Wow, imagine what Aaron could do if he had a steam engine!

The foam blocks attached to the top fit down in between the bottom foam supports and restrain the model.

There is an index mark to show proper lid orientation.  This ain't the Winchester factory.
