Sean Davis'
Notes
February
23, 2010 Kit arrived at Metaline
Falls, Washington
The
kit is now in NE Washington state . The kit fared the travel Very Well
- No Damage upon first inspection.
I
have several Doc appointments (200 miles RT) this week so it may
be
the weekend before I get to it. From what I have looked at the assembly
so far looks Top Notch.
Looks
like some Texas BBQ sauce fingerprints on the shipping box , would
those be Aaron's or Buddy's ?

Greetings
all:
The steps I was put in charge of are complete. The aircraft is packaged
and ready to be mailed to John today.
It
will take months to get the stink of a "super kit" off my bench as it
caters to the classics. I hope my Modeling Mojo is not wrecked from
handling and working on that Tamiya kit.
I did pass on the
picture as lately I have looked like walking death. Last week I
did 800
+ miles from Doc appointments on MRI - with and without dye and blood
work. Think I am still a few quarts low as I am beat. I was
scheduled
for back surgery (Spine Fusion) March 5th, but just received a
phone
call. It has been moved to the 15th. Boo, all that stress
for nothing
this week.
John, I didn't notice on the flaps those depressions
were ejector marks till I studied the photos. I thought they were
"lightening holes" as symmetrical of a pattern they are. Anyway if you
or anyone else dislike them I won't be offended if they are redone. The
paint used was MM Chrome to match the previous work. The
work on the
Spitfire has been Top Notch and I am proud to have been a part of it.
Happy Modeling my Friends,
Sean
