I used parts of another pilot to get the pose I wanted and also to
replace the head which looked rather smashed from ear to ear. A new prop
shaft and bearing were also made.
Struts were thinned and profiled. The objective throughout
the build was to keep the original character of the kit, not try to make
it look like a recent kit.
