The kit has the cowl flaps molded shut on the left boom. On the right
boom the cowl flaps are on the cowl, and they are open. Flight Line
Engineering makes an update set that has a
replacement cowl for the left with open cowl flaps which has you cut the
left boom back to the front of the cowl flaps and then sand off the cowl
flaps to the contour of the right boom front.
