Masks were made from photos of the kit parts and cut with a Silhouette
Cameo vinyl cutter. Fit is very good throughout the build. I
have heard it said that the canopy has to be posed open or closed and if
closed
the sliding part is trapped. I found that not to be true as I could
pry out the lower aft edges of the sliding part and it could be lifted
straight up. In this photo it is not glued in place and the fit was
tight enough to
paint the model without leaks. When all the painting was done I
pried the aft corners out, lifted the front and took it off to be
displayed in the open position.
