Model Master paints were used for the 70/71, Hataka for the 65, and
Tamiya for all the markings. Some serious masking was needed for the
splinter pattern. The retraction struts
are not correct and appear to be copies of the production version
which was electrically actuated. If my memory is right the gear on
the V1 was hydraulic and the retraction
struts were hydraulic cylinders. In photos the actuators were
slightly higher on the strut. My main reference for this model was
Alfred Price's "Focke Wulf Fw 190 at War".
