Hasegawa 1/48 F6F-3 Arthur Payne Whiteway

I could have done a better job cutting out the area for the -3 aft windows. The fit was quite good in the kit, however the wing required some adjustment. The lower front protruded forward of the top at the
firewall. I removed material from the aft edge of the wing until I got up to some engraved detail I wanted to keep. Perhaps I should have removed some material from the fuselage at the rear.
I had to sand just a bit at the front edge where the cowl will fit, and had to add a little filler at the top front of the wing leading edge.
