An issue with the kit is the length of the landing gear.  It is too tall.  Most of the main gear struts were cut off, in this photo the parts removed are in view in front.  
The attachment to the wing is via steel pins.  It would have been better to modify the angle the trailing arms attach to the struts so they are horizontal
but by the time the problem was realized it was too late on this build.  As it is now it probably sits as it would if no fuel were loaded.
