The 53 kit came with a flathead 8 and another hop up V-8 but I needed a
6 and 3 speed. I bought the Moebius kit for the straight six, it is
a little later engine than the 200 inch six in the 53 but close
enough.
I can't tell the difference. There are going to be a lot of extra
parts left over as I have little interest in the style and year of the
rest of the Moebius kit. Oh no, will I get sucked into the very dark
side of hot rods?
That must be worse than falling into armor!
For the color I fooled around with color chips and pictures on the
net to finally print out some chips on glossy paper in my laser
printer. I had Ace Hardware put it in their color scanner and mix
up 1/2 pint of enamel.
Hope it's close. My wife says it is but you can't trust women and I
certainly can't trust my color vision with colors that have green in
them. This photo has most of the parts I expect to use.
