Model Master Italian Red was used. The mounting pins for the nose gear were not long enough to engage the holes intended for them in the fuselage
so a platform was built for the strut to rest on. The mounting level allowed a longer nose strut which helped in correcting the model's stance.
The decals were from a sheet for the Arrow from Canuck Decals and worked very well.
