On the left is the stand decal for the original box scale Revell F-89D, the first plastic model I built.  I drew up one for the A-7 in the same style.  Knowing the history surrounding James Ling's
acquisition of Chance Vought in a hostile takeover and the following LTV pyramid scheme that led to one of the largest bankruptcies in US history, I chose to assume in this alternate history
that Vought fought him off and continued with an earlier corporate logo in place of LTV.
