Curtiss A-18 Shrike II

Fuselage, wing, and tail joins were pretty trouble free.  The engines were nicely cast but were much too small.  I saved them for some other build, maybe one needing R-975's.  Un-geared R-1820's were
ordered from Starfighter Decals and were an excellent fit and of superb quality.  The cowls were thinned with a Dremel sanding drum and just the slightest bit of sanding was needed on the rocker housings.
Some time was spent figuring out how to space the engines so the front of the engines would protrude the right amount from the cowl fronts and to get them to sit squarely.
