Rudder and fin.
The upper hinge is temporarily installed, it's a narrow piece of
CA hinge.
For the center hinge on the
elevator Kevlar string was wrapped around a few times and CA'd on the
front side only. Crude, light, works great. Done that way on
both sides.
A carbon fiber rod was inserted into the
bottom of the rudder spar. As you see in continues on down through
the stabilizer to a point even with
the side stringer
on the fuselage. The
control horn was not glued on until after the tail was covered and
permanently attached to the fuselage.
