The front fin post extends down through a hole cut in the tailwheel support.  This hole is not laser cut as it is unlikely that the fin post will fit in a precut hole, so it must be located by trial fitting of the fin assembly to the fuselage.




Laying out the location of the 3/16 carbon fiber elevator joiner on the back of the elevator spars.



Routing in a recess for the carbon fiber joiner.  The parts are clamped to an aluminum angle which also provides a guide for the Dremel tool.


A dam was made with clay before using 30 minute epoxy to install the joiner.
