Tail assembly.  I made a carbon fire rod elevator joiner, drilling in to the back side of the elevator spar.
The rod is as close as possible to the center of the radius that will be formed on the front of the elevator.

Vertical fin with alternate built up rudder.

Starting fuselage construction.  One side is tacked together and the second side is going together right on top of it.

Cut all the crossmembers and diagonals before framing up and joining the fuselage sides.  There is a table on the plans with all the lengths.
Use a digital caliper and a fine saw as in the photo.  Harbor Freight has inexpensive digital calipers.  The saw is from UMM USA and is very
sharp and razor thin.  The saw is here:   http://umm-usa.com/onlinestore/product_info.php?cPath=21_28&products_id=35

Framing up the fuselage.  The aft end of the fuselage is wide, with a 1/4 square upright 1/4 inch forward of the end.
